As we arrived at the harbor I saw a boat with a familiar name Tally Ho. Some club members may remember a boat by that name on Lake Michigan. No, it was not the same one, but it was beautiful just the same. We visited the famous Opera House and were lucky to be ale to attend an opera on Sunday, which had a hug crowd. The inside of the opera house is magnificent.
Sydney Bridge was quite a site, especially from a pylon lookout to which I climbed and was able to take some photos of some brave souls who were actually climbing the bridge. You can see them on the left side of this photo, if you look closely. They are dress in blue. We did a lot of sightseeing by bus, train and ferries which are a very popular mode of transportation.
After walking my feet off in and around Sydney, I was ale to rest a little but not without sightseeing in and around Wellington, New Zealand.
My brother and family have a beautiful house with a gorgeous view overlooking Titahi Bay. Most homes are built into the hills.
Wellington is compared to San Francisco because of it's geography and landscape.
I had no opportunity to do any sailing but saw some beautiful boats as well as some huge cruise ships entering and leaving both Sydney and Wellington harbors. What a wonderful trip.
