Precision 18

Precision 18, 1986 in ready-to-sail condition. Just pop in water and off you go. Overnight with a fellow sailor in the cozy cabin, freshen up with a swim, board again using the ladder, and be ready again for the next day’s adventure! This boat has 350 lbs of lead ballast and only draws 18” with centerboard up and 4.5 feet with board down- a great combination for nice upwind performance and easy trailering. Overall length is 17'5" and beam is 7' 6".

Rigging: Crisp Jib, 120 Genoa, and Main; all have only been used a dozen or so times. Same for all running rigging and lazy jacks. Added a custom Lewmar mainsheet traveler system, a boom vang and a reefing system to provide improved mainsail control in higher winds.

Reliable, start-first-pull Suzuki 4hp outboard pushes the boat along nicely. New impeller, gear oil and spark plugs.

Eazyload galvanized trailer with custom extending tongue. Bearings and tires have less than 1,000 miles on them. New spare tire. Tows easily without needing a monster truck.

New cushion covers and porta-potti enhance your non-sailing moments. Fly screens and a transparent rain tarp keep you bug-free, light and dry.

All the equipment (and some spares) necessary for towing, launching and sailing. The only thing you will need is a wash sponge for the decks as I have concentrated on making this a great trailer-sailer rather than a photo opportunity. Asking $4500.
