The guest speakers present on a variety of nautical topics.
This is a evening sail to catch the sunset and full moon rise.
In this demonstration I‘ll cover the following: Rode types, scope, swing, alarms, dragging, snubber, and bridal. 30 minutes or so of white boarding and then we‘ll head out to set anchor a few times. If time allows, we‘ll sail a bit too.
In this demonstration, I‘d like to cover different techniques when sailing in heavy weather: Reefing, Heaving to, Running downwind, jack lines, harnesses, large wave strategies.
Obviously this would be best done in heavy weather, but we‘ll do the best we can with what mother nature gives us.
